Well about me , I was born Christmas Day 1968, in Los Angeles California. We move to Newport Beach in 1976 and hear we stayed. I grew up hanging out in the harbor. My parents bought me a sabot when I was 7 years old. What a great way to grow up Sailing and hanging out.
I met Richard in October of 1990 and here we are many years later still together. He was a power boater, likes to go fast. We bought a ski boat in 1992 and had a great time with his children at the Colorado river. We bought a small (30') sail boat in 2004 and Richard decided he likes sailing. Originally we were going to get a trawler, he had ties here in So Cal and thought is was a nice alternative to Go fast ( drive 4 hours to the river) play hard and drive 4 hrs home. In stead, float 3.5 hours to Catalina Island. Thank you Geoff Ford for taking us in 2000 to Catalina. That was the start of Getting Richard to look at other types of boating.
Anyway that is was how we ended up getting The Sea Gnome.
