January 18th, 2008
Well it is now January 18 2008, the radar is in, the air condition gets done next week, shake down, test auto pilot and etc Sunday Jan 26th (Rick my new sails better be here). We leave February 1st to Ensenada and check the boat in to the country. Toni is coming along to load her crap on so when she and I fly to Cabo to meet the boat all we need is our passports and a hand held Radio to call the crew come and pick us up.
The itinerary, Depart Ensenada February 14 or 15 ( we are anti Valentines day ) 7 days scheduled for the Ensenada to Cabo leg, assuming some stops, Turtle bay or Cedros. This will be Richard, Louie and Johnny (Johnny we have not met yet but Louie has cruised for a while and we are excited to have him along). Richard fly's home from Cabo on the 22nd so he can go back to work for a week and then heads to St Martin for the Heineken Regatta.
2 nd leg is Cabo to PV, Elizabeth and Toni fly to Cabo on the 21st ( hope the boat is there or find a cheap hotel) We jump on and Elizabeth, Louie, Toni and the mystery Johnny go to PV. it is a 2-3 day run so we may stop along the way. We move into the new slip in Puerto Vallarta at Paradise village on March 1st and fly back to California the 2nd or 3rd ( The party from the blue water marina, Newport Beach has moved to PV) Our friend Randy Hale is now in PV and Anne and Reny are there) Hopefully we are all together.
Check the scrap book as I will be posting pictures soon and updating the logs. If you see a sail boat looking like a barge that would be us, 2 dinghy's with outboards, 2 kayak, more wine than can be drunk, spare part for all are friends in PV and god only know what else will be added at the last minute
