Well, I am back in Southern California, the job in the Caribbean did not work out. I did spend a wonderful vacation in the BVI. Thank you Arjan for your hospitality I did look at of options about staying in BVI, but alas it was not meant to be. So back in southern California I am . I have gone back to work for Portrait Homes.
October 2006 . Helped Jeff Sanders, webmaster for the KP 44 group, deliver his boat to southern California. A great time was had by all with Jeff on Beatrix from San Francisco to Marina Del Rey. We took a trip up the deltas and had a very innocuous passing of Point Conception. as a matter of fact it was boring Better that than the usual night mare it can be. December 2006 - Sea Gnome has been painted topside, and we took our first weekend trip Thanksgiving to Catalina island, two harbors. Met up with Mamouna and Beatrix. Nothing exciting on either passage just some shake down issues. the engine had not been run for a while so when we so saw the smoke small panic, but it was only the oil burning off. On the return trip we sailed most of the way, the alternator quit, good thing we had a spare. Again Richard and his magical skills.
