"Sail for the Visually Impaired" is an annual event sponsored by WORSA. A great number of boats participate by taking in excess of 300 visually impaired sailing for the afternoon in Newport Harbor, CA

Prior to buying our first sailboat "Rhumb Runner" we charted from Lido Sailing club in Newport Beach, CA . We wanted to be sure we liked sailing before we sold our Hallett. It never quite made sense to drive 4 hours to go boating on the Colorado river when we live, 6 mile from the ocean.
